Our story
Founded in 2013 by Céline Richard, LeLigne is a French brand of linen cushion covers.
In 2022, LeLigne paused; the work did not. Céline Richard kept painting, drawing and taking photographs.
In 2024, with a new business partner and a new base in Porto, LeLigne found fresh ground.
The 11th collection launched in spring 2026.
Our creations
From the Côte d'Opale — that stretch of French coastline where land meets ocean — Céline Richard paints, draws and takes photographs.
She then selects and edits each piece before it becomes a print.
Our cushions
Our linen is produced and woven in Belgium by Libeco, warranted purveyor to the Royal Court of Belgium (https://www.libeco.com/en/).
Printing is carried out in France.
Each cover is handcrafted in the Guimarães region of Portugal, a renowned centre of textile production.
